Dao The QIMP - Governance update.png

Say hi to the new QiDao Governance Hub, a dedicated platform where any community member can propose, refine, and advance ideas into proposals that shape the future of the protocol.

Since 2021, almost 250 QIPs have been shipped, keeping QiDao ranked among the most active DAOs in crypto. Along the way, technical requirements such as GitHub pull requests were introduced to move toward governance automation and decentralization. While effective, these also added friction for non-technical participants.

Chapter 5 (2024) of the Evolution of the DAO series introduced Direct Governance Proposal Posting, allowing any aveQI holder with enough voting power to post proposals directly on Snapshot. Chapter 6 goes even further, removing barriers so any DAO member, regardless of technical expertise, can take part in the entire process, from idea creation to on-chain execution.

Governance is now simpler, more open, and more transparent. Any community member can participate directly, from idea creation to Snapshot voting, without developer tools or technical workflows via the QiDao Governance Hub.

🌱 From Idea to On-Chain Execution

The Governance Hub introduces QiDao Community Ideas (QCIs), an easier way to begin governance discussions and track proposals through their lifecycle.

This process ensures every idea can have a clear decentralized path from community draft to on-chain execution.

To reinforce decentralization, all content submitted to the Governance Hub is now registered and stored via IPFS. This ensures that community ideas and formal proposals are censorship-resistant and verifiable, reducing reliance on third parties, centralized tools, and infrastructure.
